I am very excited to announce that I have been honored with the Cele Lalli Rising Star Award from the Association of Bridal Consultants! I love what I do and to receive an award for doing what I do makes me very very happy!

I also wanted to let you know that we are working on a new and improved blog. Blogger has served us well but it is time to move on. Things have been a little slow around here but as soon as we get the new blog up and running everything will get picked back up.

Let's Eat Cake for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Melissa Margarita-DiStefano of Masterpiece Weddings is putting on an amazing contest to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The contest, Let's Eat Cake, is a wedding cake competition that will feature bakers from all across the country both pros and amateurs.

Melissa also decided to donate $1.00 for everyone that posts about the event so if you have a blog post about it and help out!

What a great bridal show!

The bridal show is over and we had a great time! We met so many amazing brides-to-be and are looking forward to meeting with you over the next couple of weeks! In case you couldn't make it here are some pics from our booth.








It was really good to see some of our vendor friends too! Everyone had great looking booths. It is always fun to see what everyone brings.

Its a Southern Wedding Party!

Yesterday I posted about the launch of Southern Weddings magazine and now they are having a party to celebrate! And you're invited! It's next Sunday in Atlanta at the Dogwood Restaurant at 6pm. I was going to post about the launch of the premiere issue of Southern Weddings magazine on Monday but I'm not gonna lie the bridal show has me a little distracted. So if you haven't picked up your copy of Southern Weddings yet - you need to get yourself to the nearest bookstore or Target and pick up a copy (if there are any left!).

And if you haven't checked out their blog yet you're missing out. They feature gorgeous weddings everyday with tons of pictures and they always have a contest or two or three going on. So make sure to check out http://www.iloveswmag.com/ but only after you go to the store to get your copy of the mag! I have already been through my copy at least 4 times and it is AMAZING!
